Guideline for Course Registration of 2nd semester 2025th

Please refer to the E-Schedule, course catalog, or other relevant information before registering for courses.
If you have any questions regarding course registration, please contact the Head office of Global College.

● Please be sure to check your E-Schedule and Syllabus carefully, as it may be subject to change before the period of course registration.

● To prevent the trading or exchanging courses among students, immediate re-registration after course cancellation is not allowed. A random time delay will be automatically applied, after which re-registration for the canceled course will be allowed.

<Caution>
  • In the case of a problem arising from a lack of awareness regarding course registration, graduation, cancellation, or other related issues,the responsibility lies solely with the student.
  • Please be aware that the server may be slow due to high traffic at the beginning of the course registration period. It is recommended to use the pre-registration option.
  • The minimum number of credits required to be eligible for a scholarship is 16 credits (12 credits for 4th-year students only). <Not based on taking courses!>
  • If the course is canceled, a notification will be provided on the website(https://ksgc.kr)or via the Kakao channel.
  • After the course registration period ends, students should confirm all registered courses via the student portal.

- Pre-registration is NOT on a first-come, first-served basis, and students can take for their desired courses within the maximum allowed credits.
- Please ensure to check the results of the pre-registration on Friday, August 8th. If you need to add more courses, please note that you must register again during the course registration day starting from Tuesday, August 12th.

Basic general
education
  • You must complete at least 14 credits of the 'Basic General Education' courses listed in the curriculum guide.
    ※ If you are a freshman who entered this semester, please do not cancel any course for graduation.
  • Students are not allowed to register for courses designated as “for freshmen".
System of

major
  • Only original major : Completion minimum 54 credits, but students should meet the total graduation credits requirements.
    (e.g. Students in the school of Global Studies must complete 30 credits with major or elective basic course to graduate.)
  • Double major : Completion of minimum 36 credits in each major
  • Minor : Completion of whole required original major(54 credits) and 21 credits in minor major

  • • The credit carryover policy is applied this semester. If you registered less than the upper limit of credits in the last semester, you can apply for up to 2 additional credits this semester. You can find out your maximum allowable course credits on the course registration website.
    (e.g. If you registered 17 credits spring semester 2025, you can take 19 credits this semester.)
For retaking
course
  • To retake the course, you must designate the retake course on the Student Portal in advance of course registration.
    ※ If you do not set up a retake course in advance, you cannot register for the same course on that time.
An excess
students

• You can check the tuition invoice after completing the course registration.

  • In the case of a problem occurs due to a failure of not being well-aware of the course registration, graduation, cancellation of credits, and other relating issues, the responsibility is fully on the student.
  • After the course registration period has ended, the student should confirm all the registered courses on his or her portal.
  • Please understand in case a slow server occurs due to a lot of users at the start of the course registration time
